Frequently asked questions
Can it go in the oven?
Yes, conventional and fan ovens, up to 250 °C. That is precisely what it is made for: it conducts heat better than plastic and cooks more evenly.
What about the microwave?
No. Aluminium reflects microwaves and causes arcing. For a microwave dish you need a PP or PET container.
Can it go in the freezer?
Yes, down to −40 °C. Aluminium does not become brittle in the cold, unlike some plastics.
How is it recycled?
With metal packaging, once emptied. A quick rinse is enough — aluminium recycles indefinitely without losing its properties.
