The cardboard-lined aluminium lid sits and crimps onto the rim of the container. The cardboard gives the rigidity aluminium alone lacks: the stack does not sag in transit.
WHY THIS PRODUCT
Crimp the edge over the container rim and the dish is closed. Unlike film, a rigid lid takes the weight of a second dish placed on top — that is what lets you stack orders in a delivery bag without crushing the one underneath.

Which container does it fit?
It is made for one specific model — the reference is in the name and in the specification table. A lid from another size will not crimp properly.
Can it go in the oven with the container?
No. The lid is for transport and storage. Remove it before baking: the cardboard lining is not made for oven heat.
Is it airtight?
It is splash-proof and stays shut in transit, but it is not a seal. For liquids, choose a container with a heat-sealed film.
Can you write on it?
Yes, the cardboard face takes marker and adhesive labels. Handy for identifying an order without opening the dish.
