Duni bagasse plate Ø 22 cm white – 8 × 50 pieces
Duni bagasse plate Ø 22 cm white
Ø 220 mm · 400 pieces · Microwave-safe
Round plate in sugarcane fibre, compostable in a home composter and made without added PFAS. It is microwave-safe and does not go soggy under a sauce.
Why choose this sugarcane fibre plate?
Compostable in a garden composter
Certified OK compost HOME: it breaks down in a domestic composter, not only in an industrial plant. Sugarcane fibre is a residue of sugar production, not a crop grown for packaging.
Hot, cold, microwave
Duni rates it resistant to cold, heat and microwave, refrigerator included. Hot dishes, salads, desserts: one plate covers the whole menu, with no need to switch between services.
It does not go soggy under a sauce
The 19 mm raised rim holds the juices in. Moulded fibre does not soften like thin board and does not bend under a loaded dish — the difference shows after ten minutes on the table.
No added PFAS
Duni makes the whole Dine range without added PFAS and states it on its technical sheet. It is a criterion that comes up more and more in tenders from public caterers and canteens.

Frequently asked questions
Yes. Duni rates it resistant to cold, heat and microwave, and it withstands refrigeration. The manufacturer makes no claim about conventional ovens: do not use it there.
Yes. The 19 mm raised rim holds the juices in and moulded fibre does not go soggy the way thin board does. That is the main difference with an entry-level paperboard plate.
The OK compost HOME certification means the plate breaks down in a garden composter, at ambient temperature, without going through an industrial composting plant. Do still check your local sorting rules.
400 plates, that is 8 packs of 50. The case measures 240 × 240 × 435 mm and weighs 6.4 kg gross. A pallet carries 30 cases, or 12,000 plates.
